Do Catahoulas Like Children?
It is Riley the Catahoula here. Did you just ask me if Catahoulas like children? That is easy to answer. It is really simple: Do Catahoulas love to eat? Do Catahoulas love to smell? Well, then, OF COURSE we like little children because they let us eat and smell them! They are lovely! Here is a photo essay explaining exactly why Catahoulas are good with children (as are many other types of my fury friends!). This photo essay was taken at my FAVORITE store in the whole world (located in Atlanta) called Intown Healthy Hound. I think it is easy ...
Tug of War Dog Toy Worth Its Weight in Kibble
Okay, it might not be worth its weight in kibble, but it is definitely worth the moderate price for these three toys! Yankers—Dog Toy Series Review This tug-of-war toy is the best (non-rubber one) that we have found *so far.* For some reason, Riley loves the cloth tugs but won't put the rubber ones in her mouth, so we are stuck with the ones more easily destructible. Riley loves her snake and fish Yankers. Unfortunately, her alligator died a premature death. The three toys are made extra strong, there is a ton of stitching which holds up well to dog yanking. Stitched inside of ...
Weee’re Back!
Riley and I have not been blogging for a while. There is a very good reason for our absence. I have been working very hard lately--but I am finally finished. We are happy to be back and we will be blogging more regularly now. To celebrate we took a trip to North Carolina. Riley's Thoughts: My mom is finally done with her working on the computer and what some call "writing." I call it a pain in the tail. I have not been able to work on my own blog for some time now. My blog is very important to me, but she did ...
How to Have a Happy Dog
Published in 2008, this book is a pretty little pocket book. It features short descriptions of fun games you can play with your dog or puppy (peek-a-boo) and short games you can play with your dog and small kids ("Snoopy says...Sit!"). And cute things to show of too your friends (like "In-DOG-NITO") where you dress your little friend up in different hats, getting her used to wearing things on her head. But this book is more "tips" than anything else. It is a fun read, and you can flip from page-to-page without losing the essence of the book. Unfortunately it never goes ...

The dog stinks, and you just can’t take the odor anymore. You realize the time has come to give the dog a bath. But where do you begin? How should you do it? Outside? Inside? In the bathtub? It’s not hard to find a quality veterinarian in most cities. Rather, it’s the cost of veterinary care that is often prohibitive. This is where pet insurance steps in. A quality policy... [Read more of this review]
